The Glass Wall system features ˝¨ tempered glass, polycarbonate "dry joints", minimal top and bottom channels, and beautify designed hardware, including full height sliding glass door mechanisms that are fully integrated into the top frame.

Single Glazed System

Glass Walls are fabricated with ˝¨ thick tempered glass for superior rigidity and sound attenuation. Glass edges are flat polished and chamfered to a precise angle forming a virtually seamless fit when combined with the dry joint.

Polycarbonate Joints

The dry joint is fabricated from high quality polycarbonate resin that is 93% clear and will note shrink or fade when exposed to UV. The unique tongue and grove design provides a secure glass-to-glass connection and self corrects the natural tendency of glass to bow, especially in larger pieces for a perfect fit every time. The connection forms a perfect seal preventing any sound leakage through the glass.

Minimal Framing

Combined with the discreet glass-to-glass joints and no vertical posts, Low profile channels create the stunning impression of a vast expanse of unsupported glass. The minimal framing also creates a more streamlined and elegant appearance compared to other bulkier unitized wall systems. The aluminum is bead blasted to prevent fingerprints and for a scratch resistant finish.

Dividing Wall

The Dividing Wall is an attractive, cost effective side wall for ALUR Glass Walls, and MAISPACE floor-to-ceiling panels. The 4-?¨ wall is simple to install and provides a 42-60 STC. The ALUR Dividing Wall comes standard in three solid and three natural looking wood grain finishes that are both durable, and easily cleanable.

The 3.5 inch finished frame is constructed of 16-gauge cold-rolled steel for optimal strength and rigidity. Stackable (and de-stackable) frames can be raised or lowered to accommodate changing requirements for visual and acoustical privacy, including full floor-to-ceiling offices. Off modular design allows flexibility in workspace size, configuration and in locating worksurfaces, overhead bins, and divider panels. Cable runs are laid in behind lift-off panel tiles, not bundled and fished through structural elements. Panel tiles are constructed from 20-gauge steel to be distortion free and provide the industry’s highest STC (Sound Transmission Class) for a panel system.

Off-Modular Design

There is both an on-modular and off-modular system. Components can be mounted vertically on one-inch centers on the uprights or laterally on the horizontal frame members using off modular brackets precision engineered to fit in the spaces between the tiles. The horizontal frame design also simplifies moving elements into and throughout the building, reduces erection costs and reduces the number of framing components required.
